Acompáñanos en esta aventura hacia la Maravilla del Mundo, Machu Picchu, en una excursión que inicia en la ciudad de Cusco atravesando poblados como: Ollantaytambo, Santa Maria, Santa Teresa e Hidroeléctrica en carro, para luego iniciar una caminata de 2 horas por un camino plano rodeado de vegetación y frutas tropicales hasta el pueblo de Aguas Calientes, para a la mañana siguiente poder disfrutar de un guiado en la Ciudadela de Machu Picchu.

Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes
Pick up will be at Plaza Regocijo from 7:10 to 7:20 a.m. then we will start our trip to Hidroeléctrica. The trip by car will take about 7 hours so don’t forget to bring a book or your music player to pass the time. During the trip, we will be able to appreciate impressive landscapes, passing through the heights of Abra Malaga to the green jungle of Santa Maria and Santa Teresa. There we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then continue by car to Hidroeléctrica. From this point we will start walking for 2 hours and 30 minutes, following the train track, to reach the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu village. In Aguas Calientes you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Hydroelectric – Cusco
In the morning after breakfast we will go up by bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. We will try to arrive at the ruins in time for sunrise and then start our guided tour of approximately 2 hours. Afterwards we will have a couple of hours to continue touring the ruins on our own. Around noon we will have to go down to the Ruins Bridge, then we will walk back to Hidroeléctrica where the transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusco. Arriving in Cusco around 10.00 p.m. at night.
