Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Days

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes

Pick up from hotel in Cusco. The tour will start at 8:00 a.m. approximately. Then we will go by tourist bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the first stop will be in the archaeological complex of Pisac where we will have a guided tour, the next stop will be the handicraft market of Pisac, where we can appreciate textiles and jewelry. Then we will go to Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch (included in the tour). After lunch we will go to Ollantaytambo, where we will first visit the archaeological complex and then we will go to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

At dawn after breakfast at the hotel, we head to the bus station where our guide will be waiting for you to ascend 400 m on a road through the mountains to reach the Inca City of Machu Picchu. You will pass the controls of the entrance of the citadel, and then begin with the guided tour, you will visit the main sites of the citadel: the enclosure of the guardian, the temple of the sun, the Intihuatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred square, the temple of the condor, the sacred rock and others, the guided tour will be for more than 2 hours. At the end of the tour you will have free time to stroll around the citadel and take pictures. After the guided tour in Machu Picchu we will begin to descend by bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch (not included), in the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (be at the station 30 min before the departure time of your train), upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting to take you to the city of Cusco.
